VFX ARTIST & ANIMATOR

About

vfx artist & animator based in Los angeles

Victoria Gualtieri

I’m a vfx artist and animator with a background in design and illustration. I graduated in 2013 with a BFA in graphic design from Boston University, with a minor in advertising. After graduating, I began work at BrewhouseVFX studio (now Conductor Productions) in Boston, and I spent a few years learning the industry before moving out to Los Angeles. I’ve since worked on numerous projects: short films, Youtube series for kids, explainer videos and tech walk-throughs for corporations. Some of my clients include Netflix, Meta, Toyota, Twitch, Kiehls, Clarks, and BratTV.

I tend to be a swiss army knife when it comes to VFX and animation; I’ve handled a variety of projects ranging from screen comps and rotowork to 2D motion graphics and mogrt creation to 3D modelling and animating. The thing I love about this line of work is that each project comes with its own unique set of puzzles, and having a wide breadth of skills allows me to tackle these accordingly.

Some of my favorite things to work on are title sequences & mograph explainer videos—I love getting to use visual mediums to communicate ideas and inspiration. How cool is it to watch a 30 second title sequence and get the flavor of a whole show or movie? That’s nuts! I love it!

I’m currently freelancing and based in Los Angeles, but am equipped to tackle remote projects as well. you can check out my showreel or head over to my contact page and drop me a line.
